Bill is an internationally know modern anthropologist specializing in primitive technology, experimental archaeology and also a chef. He received his masters and PhD degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia. Bill is the author of “Eat Like a Human”. He founded and directs the Eastern Shore Food Lab with a mission to preserve and revive ancestral dietary approaches to create a nourishing, ethical, and sustainable food system. Along with his wife they operate the Modern Stone Age Kitchen in Maryland. He was the focus of Wired magazine’s YouTube series, “Basic Instincts and Food Science” and he co-starred in the National Geographic Channel series “The Great Human Race.”
